StoneSmart is an educational tracker — not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. It does not diagnose kidney stones, does not tell you whether you are having one, and does not replace your clinician. Nutrient values, hydration goals and meal-scan results are estimates to discuss with a professional, not clinical measurements. Always follow your clinician's guidance, and seek urgent care for severe pain, fever or blood in your urine.
StoneSmart is for adults tracking their own kidney-stone risk factors. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter, and for the decisions you make from what you see.
Food values come from published sources, each carrying its own citation in the app. Serving sizes, preparation and natural variation mean any figure is an approximation. Meal-scan results are produced by an AI model, are labelled as estimates, and are always editable before you save them. Do not treat any number in this app as a measured clinical value.
Hydration and medication reminders depend on your device and its operating system. Battery optimisation, notification permissions, Do Not Disturb and system settings can all delay or suppress them. Do not rely on StoneSmart as your only reminder for medication.
Some features require a StoneSmart Premium subscription, purchased through Google Play or the App Store. Billing, renewal, refunds and cancellation are handled by that store under its own terms — we cannot process a refund on the store's behalf. Manage or cancel your subscription in your store account; cancelling stops future renewals and leaves access running to the end of the paid period. Prices and what Premium includes may change, and where they do, we will say so before the change applies to you.
Your entries are yours. The privacy policy sets out what is stored, where, and who processes it. You can export everything or delete everything from inside the app at any time.
StoneSmart works offline for its core tracking. Features that need a server — food lookup, barcode, meal scan, cloud backup, push reminders — depend on services that may be unavailable, slow or changed.
Do not attempt to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the app or its servers, use it to store other people's health data without their consent, or resell access to it.
StoneSmart is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for health outcomes, missed reminders, inaccurate estimates, or losses arising from your use of the app. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and nothing here affects the consumer rights you have where you live.
If these terms change materially we will update the date above and tell you in the app.
